What are the stages of hair transplantation?
First of all, planning is done in the region to be sown. The number of grafts (hair follicles) can be determined by determining the region where the person wants to be sowing.
The hair follicles (graft) to be transferred to the bald area in hair beard and mustache sutures are taken from the hair between the two ears with the help of a surgical technique called FAP. The hair follicles are shaved off and the local anesthesia is numb. The hair follicles taken from this area are cleaned, counted and stacked to be kept in special solutions. This process lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
Local anesthesia is performed primarily for the region planned for sowing and the channels where grafts will be planted are opened in the direction of your hair structure. This process takes 1 hour on average.
It is the stage where the grafts which are kept in special solutions are planted in the openings. This process takes 2 hours on average. The operation is then completed. After 5-6 hours of operation, you can reach your beard and mustache. As local anesthesia is performed in the procedure, no pain can be felt.
Insertion of follicles taken with FUE technique within the defined limits is called the most important part of the operation. The number of grafts and line limit determined can be processed by the doctor and patient's approval.
In the area where the beard-mustache is sown, immediately after sowing, a dark red appearance is formed due to the blood clot coming out of the place where the needles are used, and cleaned in the first wash. The hair-beard-mustache sown area is washed 48-72 hours after the clots are washed with the washed roots become visible and 2-3 days of hair-beard image occurs. For better feeding of the sown root in the body, there is an increase in blood supply in the sowing area, so there are small red spots in the hairs within 2-3 days. This red image disappears in 1-2 weeks and a normal image occurs.
The hair-beard-mustache, which continues to grow after planting, can be shortened or stretched with scissors after ten days. For the roots to cling sufficiently, the first shaving should be done after 1 month, and shaved with scissors for up to 6 months.
After the third week, a part of the hair-beard and mustache, which is sown, experiences temporary shedding called shock shedding. After 4 to 6 months of temporary spillage, all of the spills are reappeared. The hair follicles continue to grow up to 2 years and the hair roots grow into the blood circulation of the area and complement the elongation process as natural bristles.
